Julie Herbolich-Holt - Owner
Julie Herbolich-Holt holds Pilates certifications
from three intensive teacher training programs: Power Pilates,
in New York, Absolution in West Hollywood and Long Beach Dance
Conditioning. She has an extensive background in therapeutic
exercise and has worked in physical therapy clinics designing
programs for clients with injuries and working extensively with
pregnant and post-partum women. Julie is well versed in the
classical Pilates method and uses a systematic and integrated
approach with her clients focusing on fitness, flow, balance,
precision and core strengthening. Julie holds a B.A. in Communications
from Pepperdine University.

Marina
Baroni
Marina holds a degree in Dance along
with an extensive theatrical background. She has 10 years
experience as an educator in self-care including exercise,
stretching, relaxation, body alignment and body mechanics.
She is a certified Massage Therapist and has been trained
in the Alexander Technique both in Europe and the United States.
She is certified in Gyrotonic® through L.A. Body Kinetics
and in Pilates through The Physical Mind Institute. Marina’s
approach to helping her clients realize vibrant health is
based on the core belief that through self awareness anybody
can change those physical and mental habits which are obstacles
to well-being. At Pilates Westwood, she offers Alexander Technique,
Pilates and Gyrotonic® sessions, either separate or combined
according to each individual’s specific goals and needs.
Marina is currently studying Ayurvedic Medicine. |

Jay Bulloch, L.Ac. M.T.O.M.
Jay Bulloch M.T.O.M, L.Ac. (Licensed Acupuncturist) has over ten years professional experience with therapeutic exercise, bodywork, and medical qigong. In his private practice, he focuses on the treatment of orthopedic disorders and trauma related conditions, incorporating acupuncture, herbal medicine, and tui na (Chinese massage) with therapeutic exercise to assist in rehabilitation of pain and trauma.
He has extensive experience treating both chronic and acute pain and injuries, as well as inhibited mobility and balance problems. In addition to pain management, Mr. Bulloch is also well versed in the practice of internal medicine. He helps patients with issues such as autoimmune diseases, gastrointestinal complaints, respiratory problems, neurological conditions, adrenal exhaustion, post-traumatic stress disorder, and chronic stress. He also works with those interested in preventative medicine and wellness regimens for promoting optimal wellbeing.
Jay's comprehensive medical, martial art, qigong, and meditation training, which spans over more than 20 years, has given him a superior understanding of the body/mind connection and how it relates to illness and healing. He utilizes a comprehensive and integrated approach to help resolve complex health issues by addressing the root of illness rather than focusing on the treatment of symptoms alone.
Jay graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emperor's College with a Masters degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2006 and is now working on a clinical Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. He is currently engaged in clinical research on the use of acupuncture for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in military veterans.
Jay also volunteers at Wellness Works in Glendale, California (a non-profit Veterans support center) where he treats returning military veterans for post-traumatic stress disorder, acute adjustment disorder and other conditions related to war trauma. |

Abey Clark
Abey has been teaching Pilates for over four years and believes that doing pilates is the ideal way to get an amazing workout and create positive change in your life. Originally from Canada, Abey moved to California in 2005, after completing her Psychology degree at Acadia University.
Abey trained through Stott Pilates at John Garey Pilates in Long Beach and began her career in Santa Barbara. Abey moved to Los Angeles in 2008 and received her second teaching certificate through the Power Pilates program. She is also certified through the Pilates Method Alliance. |

Sara Davis
Ohio native Sara Davis is certified in Acupressure, Shiatsu,
Deep Tissue, Swedish and Pregnancy massage. She looks to combine
these modalities into a treatment unique and individual to each client.
A long time practitioner of yoga and meditation, Sara received her teacher
training from Santa Barbara Yoga and Santa Monica Yoga with an emphasis
on Yin, Restorative, Hatha Yoga and Mindfulness meditation.
Sara has a passionate commitment to promoting health and wellness in all
people and she is very excited to add her energy to the eclectic talent
that makes up Pilates Westwood. |

Pamela Debiase
Pamela Debiase began her career in her native country of South Africa as a Contemporary Performer, Dance Educator, Choreographer and Fitness Instructor. She graduated from Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds, England, in 1999 and later immigrated in 2001 to the USA and continued performing and teaching dance and fitness in California. Pamela practices and teaches Classical Pilates, Joseph Pilates' original exercises with his intentions. She trained with Shari Berkowitz of Power Pilates and holds a comprehensive certification to teach all levels, healthy and injured clients, on all apparatus. She regularly takes continuing education courses to keep learning and growing as a teacher. |

Daniela Escobar
Certified Pilates Instructor
Daniela Escobar is a classically trained pilates instructor, certified through Power Pilates since 2006. Daniela holds a Bachelor degree in Physical Education and wrote her thesis about the impact of the Pilates method on a person's posture along the years of practice, using longtime instructors as the object of her research. A dancer since the age of 5, performing professionally for more than two decades, Daniela has worked as a dance teacher as well as a personal trainer for several years before being introduced to the Pilates method. |

Sheetal Gandhi
Sheetal Gandhi is a professional
dancer and choreographer and has performed and created with
Cirque du Soleil and Broadway, and danced with companies across
the U.S. and internationally. She is also currently a fellow
at UCLA, pursuing her Master of Fine Arts degree. Sheetal was
introduced to Pilates in 1991 after sustaining several serious
injuries from dancing. Sheetal received her Pilates certification
Turning Point, Walnut Creek, CA in 2001 and has joyfully been
teaching the Method ever since. Sheetal has a high awareness
of the subtleties of the body, building strength and balance
in her clients from the inside-out. |

Lesley Logan
Lesley Logan is a Power Pilates certified Pilates instructor. Born in Lodi, Ca and raised by her mother LIsa and father Mike a personal trainer and coach, physical fitness was always emphasized as an essential element in maintaining a happy and balanced life. Lesley discovered Pilates in 2001 during a mat class in Orange County at Body Arts and Science. Lesley immediately loved the discipline Pilates demanded and its focus on core strength to gain better posture, length and flexibility. After her first class, she knew that she found her passion, and began taking classes incorporating the reformer, mat, and other apparatus. Shortly thereafter, Lesley began her training to receive her certification as an instructor with Power Pilates in Beverly Hills, CA. She continues to further her understanding of the practice by attending workshops taught by Master teachers. |

Laurie
Sefton
Laurie Sefton has been teaching Pilates and Strength Training
for over 15 years. She holds a BA in Dance from UCLA. She is
certified by the American College of Sports Medicine and has
been an active member of IDEA since 1994. She is a certified
Pilates instructor with the Physicalmind Institute, however,
she teaches both “Santa Fe” and “New York”
style Pilates. She is a member of the Pilates Method Alliance. |

Julie Stone
Julie Stone has been a fitness
instructor and personal trainer for health clubs, studios and
private clients for 18 years. She taught aerobics, body sculpting
and weight training in Rome, Padova, and Milan, Italy as well
as Los Angeles. A growing interest in body alignment and physical
integrity led Julie to discover Pilates. After training at Long
Beach Dance Conditioning, she became a member of the Pilates
Method Alliance and worked in chiropractic settings. Julie's
style of detailed communication and close attention during private
and semi-private sessions has helped people of all ages and
levels of physical fitness: Achieve better posture and lengthened
muscles, enjoy more energy, experience pain relief, gain better
balance and improve flexibility and an overall healthier way
of life. |

Asayo Yi
Asayo fell in love with the art of movement as a young ballet dancer, studying at the Lexington Ballet in Kentucky, and at Russian method schools in Japan.
She returned to ballet as a young adult where she was introduced to Pilates to re-condition her body. Pilates enabled her to realize that the human body can be trained and re-trained through proper alignment and conditioning. This new realization inspired her to share this experience with others. Asayo studied with the internationally renowned Marie-Jose Blom at Long Beach Dance Conditioning completing her Pilates Teacher Certification Course in 2008. She enjoys passing on the joy of movement and body awareness to her clients, challenging each body to become his/her fullest potential.
Asayo is also a Certified Personal Trainer from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) obtained in 2007. She graduated from California State University Northridge with a BA in Communications, and a minor in Marketing. |
